Key takeaways
- Most of the work is direction and selection, not pressing "generate".
- Agree on the storyboard — changes are cheap there and expensive after rendering.
- Realistic AI footage that could pass as real must be labelled under the EU AI Act.
From brief to final cut
- Brief: the goal, audience, platform, length, tone and a few references you like.
- Script and storyboard: we write the voice-over and plan every shot — usually 8 to 15 per minute.
- Look and characters: we fix the visual style, colours and any recurring characters, so every shot matches.
- Generation: each shot is generated several times; we keep the best take and drop the rest.
- Edit and sound: cutting, transitions, voice, music, sound effects and balanced levels.
- Captions and versions: subtitles, vertical and horizontal formats, and other languages on request.
Why "about €35 a minute"
Most of the time goes into direction and selection. A simple explainer with clean, generic shots costs less; a stylised story with consistent characters, lip-sync and several language versions costs more. Quick edits of your own material start at €10. You always get a fixed quote before work starts.
How to prepare
- Put the message in one sentence: what should the viewer do after watching?
- Share your brand kit: logo, fonts, colours and product photos.
- Choose the main platform first — a 9:16 Reel and a 16:9 website video are edited differently.
- Plan one round of comments on the storyboard.
Rights and labels
You receive the files with a licence for commercial use. What you send us — photos, voices, logos — must be yours or licensed to you. Realistic AI footage of people, places or events that could be taken for real must be labelled as AI-generated under the EU AI Act; we add the label wherever it is required.
